Here go my initial thoughts: The chocolate flavor is very rich though with a hint of cherry. Tastes exactly like chocolate covered cherries which is definitely not a bad thing!
Shook it up for about 30 seconds and had no clumps left at all. I also mixed it with 20 ounces of water as I do not like the taste of my postworkout shake to be too overpowering. I must say that this really worked for me as it tasted great and was refreshing. I believe I am going to stick with this amount for the duration of my log. What I will say is that I feel no type of soreness whatsoever after just working out. Will get more into this and give a rating once I get to take it a few more times.

Must say I'm a little disappointed since this hasn't occurred in the longest with the other post workout product I've been using. Won't mention the name because it is not a MuscleTech product and I don't want to promote another company while doing this log Going to reserve judgement for a few more days though. Want to see if this continues throughout next week. Its the first day give it some time, and many factors come into play as well, i. Just worked out tonight but being that this is a recovery product I will be back with the update tomorrow to report if I feel any benefits, soreness, etc.
Excited to hear what you think in the morning Rest well. Okay worked out last night. Fridays are straight calisthenics for me as I do around the world's which consist of pull ups, push ups, and dips. I do 10 reps of each and count that as 1 set, for a total of 10 sets.
Really gives me a nice pump. Feel much better today as i have no soreness in any of the muscles I worked on. Still have the soreness in my back and calves I spoke about the other day but I'm just attributing that to the added weight during my working sets.
Also really liking the taste of Anabolic Halo. Unlike most other chocolate flavored supps, it's rather refreshing! Would love to mix it with milk but think I will just stick to water since that is what's recommended on the label. Has anyone tried it with milk yet? If so tell me about the difference in taste and if you felt the effect of the product changed. Will be back on Monday with another update.
Its more malty with milk used low fat.. Hit 3 sets each of seated front presses, dumbbell lat raises, barbell front raises, barbell curls, reverse barbell curls, reverse barbell wrist curls, and barbell wrist curls. Hit a few lower ab exercises after that and called it a night. Was able to add a little more weight on a few of my workouts and I can say that waking up this morning I feel only a slight soreness in my shoulders.
I am going to be a hard judge on Anabolic Halo because I started taking a postworkout product a few months ago and I loved it. Also have a suggestion for MuscleTech as far as flavors.
While the chocolate flavor is amazing in it's own right, I believe you guys should make a few more fruit flavored options. I feel like the fruit flavors would be more refreshing after a nice, intense workout. Also I am still mixing my Anabolic Halo with water because I believe it helps it shuttle through my system quicker and milk will only delay this.
Let me know if anyone believes otherwise because I really want to try it with milk. Be back tomorrow with another update for you! Originally Posted by AK Good training session man. If you're not training in a fasted state, I don't think it's important. I'm going to go ahead and try it with some milk today. Okay so back with an update. Had a great leg workout last night. Added lbs on all exercises and woke up this morning not feeling the slightest bit of soreness.
Hit 3 sets on the leg press machine, hack squats. I tried it and got so bloated and had such bad stomach pains that I couldn't even drink my casein shake prior to going to sleep.
This stuff did not bother me at all since I've been taking it with water and I just wanted to switch it up and try it out with milk. Wish I hadn't even attempted that. Back with another update. Hit 3 sets each of decline, incline, and regular bench press, as well as skullcrushers and seated tricep extensions.
Was able to add between lbs on all my lifts and woke up this morning feeling fresh aka no soreness!. Anabolic Halo is starting to grow on me. Usually chest and triceps can be very sore the next day after hitting them especially when adding weight to all of your lifts. But that is not the case with me.
Haven't seen any gains so far and that's what I'm really hoping for since I'm bulking. I'm still right around Also I definitely prefer Anabolic Halo in water. It was way too thick in milk and I like a postworkout that I can chug down quickly. Was able to add between lbs on all my lifts and woke up this morning feeling fresh aka no soreness! Last night was the back and calves portion of my workout.
These workouts can usually leave you very sore the following day and not to mention I added between lbs on all sets. But I woke up today and felt not the slightest bit sore. Feel like Anabolic is really starting to come though and show me it's a solid post workout product.
I was comparing it to my other post workout though and I wish MuscleTech would have incorporated CreaPure in it instead of just the regular old monohydrate. Still think it's working though. So compared to other proteins mixed with water what number would you give this compared to them. Give the mono some time, It will kick in brother.

Definitely a good workout as it gives you a nice pump and helps with your strength while still giving your body a break from lifting. Also I like to incorporate the basics into my workout so this is a great way to do that. Woke up this morning and felt great.
Took a few days for Anabolic Halo to kick in but now that it has there's no turning back! I feel refreshed the morning after every workout and there is not even a trace of DOMS. I received a package yesterday containing 2 full size tubs of their new time released protein Phase 8, 1 chocolate and 1 vanilla! Can never have too much protein and I can't wait to give it a try!
