Peyton on HGH allegation, "Totally made up I really can't believe someone would put this on air. Whoever said this is making stuff up" twitter. The allegation that I would do something like that is complete garbage and is totally made up. Whoever said this is making stuff up. Until I see some hard evidence, I'll beleive Manning's version of things. He's innocent until proven guilty, until some can prove otherwise and present evidence to back their claims - Manning should be considered innocent.
A lot of people jumped on the 'He's guilty' bandwagon with Brady during deflategate. I'd like to afford Manning the courtesy that Brady wasn't. Give us real feasible evidence and I will buy it. But just someone saying so? We would be massive hypocrites if we believed this so easily. Yeah I got no dog in this fight but reading the HP report, I'm calling bullshit too.
The only thing they have is some pharmacist running his mouth trying to pump himself up. I'm kinda shocked they were able to get a doc out of that. Well, there's also the fact that Manning's wife doesn't deny that she got packages delivered to her. He's innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
For people's personal opinion though, they can use whatever criteria or burden of evidence they want. That said, I agree with you. My thing is James Harrison. Even as a Denver fan him being injured I could maybe see it. He said at thanksgiving after surgery he couldn't throw the ball to his brother in the back yard.
But everything I've ever seen read is James Harrison takes care of his body better than anyone in the league. I just don't see him doing it. It is possible that he's doing all those things to tak care of his body and taking PEDs. If everyone in the league is on them then doing all that extra stuff is what gives him the edge.
I fully believe that there are guys on every team dabbling in illegal substances, but you need something tangible to smear a Hall of Famer. This message was created by a bot. I'd believe he takes Adderall, but HGH?
You better have video proof of that shit or his grandma better be the one outing him. Lots of guys in sports do. It's been in the air for a while that baseball's drug problem is amphetamines, not steroids. Can't speak as to Peyton though.
Screaming Omaha at things and singing to your chicken parm sandwiches does not give you a competitive advantage.
If im going to defend my QB Brady from Bullshit accusations that are based off of only "well we think he did it" then Manning deserves the same benefit of the doubt with that amount of "evidence" against him as well.
I think we'll see the true face of the NFL when Manning won't need our support because they won't bother to research it further anyway. Brady is the one theyre after, and if this report was about him, he'd be suspended by next weekend. Bro this story is on regular news outlets and there's nothing on nfl.
There was nothing on those sites the first days of deflategate either. Of course the NFL doesn't want this, but when theres controversy in the media they're forced to respond. Mortensen's article about 11 of 12 balls being 2 pounds under was the morning of Jan 20th. There were articles on the 19th and additional stories on the 20th on ESPN.
Another difference between them is deflategate was a current issue as it just happened that game. As far as I can tell the HGH allegations don't pertain to right now. Probably the more important reason there hasn't been any response yet is this is probably a systemic issue that the NFL doesn't want to deal with.
I think the point here is the traditional NFL news outlets were all over the Brady story like flies on shit because it was good for the NFL.
A silly little minor rule involving a superstar that would give the NFL a story for the offseason. Every stat from this era will be tainted with the stench of HGH. Exactly you are correct. They dont want to open that can of worms. If there is something more substantial to this, al jazeera or some other news agency will find out about it. It's on espn's website and I'll bet you a case of beer they talk about it tomorrow, as well as on nfl Sunday.
Considering how much buzz deflate bs caused during an otherwise dead period for the NFL, I'm not so sure that the NFL doesn't want this The nfl doesn't care about HGH but cares about ball deflation is another interpretation.
The widespread nature of drugs would fuck the league if exposed I mean, Manning talked about assaulting a woman by rubbing his balls and ass all over her face. Dude seemingly tells the truth no matter the consequences. No matter the consequences? Also, he still denies most of that story to this day.
After that, in , Manning wrote his autobiography and discussed the assault saying that the trainer had a "vulgar mouth" and that what he did was harmless. The trainer was fired from her job after that, and sued Manning for defamation. They agreed on an undisclosed settlement and the court put a gag order on both sides from ever talking about the settlement or each other again. In , Manning talked about the assault again for ESPN, where he said the trainer took advantage of him, breaking the gag order and forcing him to resettle again.
Well, the allegations include an admission of a federal crime transportation of controlled substances across state lines using the USPS. The USPS scans an image of every envelope that passes through it's sorting facility for the purpose of tracing criminal packages think Anthrax.
I mean seriously, as a baseball and football fan can we keep football PED talks rational. Baseball has gotten to the point where if you hit a homerun or touched 90mph on the gun during the "steroid" era you better have a noterized list of everything you've ever put in your body or shit out.
Speculation and conjecture are the only way in the MLB, you are guilty with no chance of innocence and it's tiring. Please lets not let this happen to the NFL. If we were to take away anything from Ballghazi it's this.
He's not guilty til the full facts are out and then conjecture can be passed. Time to make the Broncos lose every draft pick for a combo of Peyton's allegations and being part of the state that allows weed to be legal. He bought into Papa John's Pizza.
He's consciously looking to profit off that legal weed! Lol I still love how they phrased that as "destroyed" like it was the laptop from Ted 2 haha. Yeah but there's no rule against being generally aware of drug use. As long as he cooperates with the investigation he should be fine.
Goodell said that ball air is almost the same as PED use. Shearman was either juicing or "generally aware" his teammate was using and nothing happened. Well, I guess it doesn't matter then Did you see the reaction before I put it there? Angry comments proved it was taken too seriously. Can't please everybody I guess. Which will conclude in the Colts and Broncos losing a first round pick and a media circus that continues until peyton is retired.
I told Broncos to bring the snacks and I'll bring the movies. Broncos showed up to my house with movies and asked me where the snacks were. He seems very wise and just. I totally believe he did it, i just don't care. Totally agree on both counts. If it helped him heal, I'm glad he did it. Same for AD with the ACL, and any other player who came back from a devastating injury or returned abnormally quick. I'd have a problem if Peyton had used steroids and laugh slightly at how little they seem to have worked for him but HGH seems completely fair to use in his situation minus the illegality of it.
See what I mean. Notice how it's all red as well. That's from increase blood flow from the steroid use. What's the difference if they pump them full a of meds to num the pain and get back out there? Atleast this way they actually heal. Exactly, it's benefitting the players and the NFL as a product. I dunno why it's banned to be honest, everyone does it and the NFL turns a blind eye towards it anyways.
